So Yesterday I did my first newborn shoot. I loved it! It was so much fun working with a little baby. I also took pics of her big sis who is 5. She was beautiful and full of energy! I did the shoot in their home to make it more comfortable for everyone. I get there and there isn't much natural light in their home and that is the BEST thing to shoot indoors with. I really didn't want to use my flash so I tried really hard to pick up as much light as possible. It just wasn't working. I raised my ISO, I tried lowering my shutter speed but that made for blurry grainy pictures! UGHHHH!! I was so frustrated when I came home and uploaded them. I felt sick! I did get a few good ones, but not enough to make me happy!! I e-mailed the women and explained my situation. I will hopefully be doing a few more photos for her sometime this week. I just know I can do better then that. Here are a few of the good ones I got.

I think they are great shots but I often understand that an artists toughest critic is often the artist herself(himself). The newborn pic is absolutely adorable!
Hey I went on top of the parking garage at the Presb. Hospital... not so good. Would be great from one of the Hospital windows, but the garage had a slight foliage issue. I had a bit better vantage point from the parking garage attached to the new Target and Home Depot Design Center on Charlottowne (I think?). Have a look here.
